Bill Hodshire, age 75 of Seguin, passed away on May 17, 2013. A memorial service celebrating Bill’s life will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date. Bill was born on October 26, 1937 in Granite City, Illinois to William R. Hodshire, Sr. and Learlene Hildreth Hodshire. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Karen Freeman. Survivors include his loving wife, Joyce Hodshire; children, Rick Hodshire and wife Chris, Leslie Miller, Sherry Smith and husband Brian and Brenda Taylor; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Carlos D. Miranda died recently at the age of 73. A memorial mass is set for 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 23 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Bertha Miranda; and children, Imelda Martinez, Juan Carlos Miranda, Cindy Fuentes, Irene Miranda, Carlos Miranda Jr., Debbie Valadez, Michael Medina and David Medina.
